Vnus Associates - New beginning !!!

Well, to take Vnus group to the next level, we have decided to form a "partnership" company called "Vnus associates". :-)

First meeting with the auditor was done to take this forward. :-)

More on this in the coming days.

Yes,it is there everywhere!! I never thought I'll write one though....

I heard about word 'blog' and its meaning sometime in 2005. Heard about it when Venkat and Bose were discussing something. They gave me a weird look when I asked what is it mentioning, 'you don't know what is  blog!!'. I understood it was already an 'in thing'. Later I read few of Venkat's(my tech guru of those times)  blogs. I tagged the whole concept as 'it is for geek' nothing related to me.

Years passed I used hear or read about the 'blogs' here and there on various subjects, which never interested me.

Idea again stuck to me when I was on maternity leave. Shreya used to cry with her Colic problem. I was hell bent on finding a solution for her problem in whole WWW. I came across many very useful blogs by mothers. Then I found out the real use of blogging. For moment I even thought of writing my experiences as mother somewhere and share it so that other first time mothers get benefited. But whole idea somehow I forgot as the days passed.

Then I joined back work with new challenge in my technical role. I had to dust and polish all my technical skills, again I had taken refuge of WWW. So came across many tech blogs helped me specially ones from Martin Fowler's (agile and OO guru) bliki. One more round of thinking in me telling me why don't you share your knowledge if it can help someone. But I was really hesitant, left the idea then and there.

Meantime I read quite entertaining and honest blogs of Amitabh Bhachan and Aamir Khan. It was fun reading it. A curious side of mine was trying gather all information about the hero's I admire. 

With this there was again desire to share my thoughts with others through medium of blogs. But I wasn't sure who will read it. I'm not a celebrity. And who take so much of pain in creating my own blog site? I can share it with only few friends with whom anyway I share all my thoughts. Why need a blog, so concluded blogging is not for me.

Recently Vikram started talking about blogs, created this forum encouraging all of us in VNUS to write something. With all this encouragement, I finally decided to start this blog. 

Again I was in two minds when I finished this half way through. Is this the right blog to post it in VNUS, I'm not writing anything to do with VNUS. Well then decided to go ahead and publish it just for heck of it. It might be helpful to all of those in the group who will have starting trouble like me with blogs or if not anything just for time pass reading. At least people will read it because they have to :)

Now tell me how do you feel about it? Was it informative or entertaining or even time pass in ANY way?? Well I thoroughly enjoyed writing it :)
